Replacing filters and fluids as per the manufacturers recommendations, and carrying out a full visual inspection of the car to ensure maximum efficiency from your vehicle and minimise the risk of a breakdown, saving you money and keeping you safe on the road.
What happens if I miss a Service?
A minor fault can turn into a major repair. Having your vehicle regularly inspected by a qualified technician during a service ensures your vehicle is operating as it should be, and any minor concerns can be reported and resolved before it's too late. Modern engine oils are synthetic and have additives that can "go off"- putting extra strain on your motor, increasing fuel consumption and damaging key internal components. This in turn directly effects the hip pocket!
Do you have Loan cars and are they free?
No, Woodward's Auto Repairs do not provide Loan Cars.
Will I lose my New Car Warranty if I don't go back to the dealer?
Not a chance! You have the right to choose your vehicle repairer and help support local small businesses.
In fact, manufacturers are not allowed to force you to take the vehicle back to them for servicing although they imply it keeps your vehicle warranty intact. Having your vehicle serviced by an independent workshop like Woodward's Auto Repairs not only saves you money, but the whole process is more convenient without affecting your new car warranty at all. We have more information on this for you in our article. Please click here.
I have lost my Log Book, do I need it?
Not necessarily. We keep all service records on file, and have access to log book service requirements. We've got you covered!

We understand life can be busy, so if you have time constraints that we need to work around we would like to have you car at least 2 hours. However, leaving your car with us for the day gives us a better chance to resolve any additional concerns on the same day. Please let us know when making your appointment if you need your car for school pick ups, to get to medical appointments etc. to avoid unnecessary delays.

What do "Squeaky Brakes" mean?
Not always a sign your brakes need replacing. The brake pads and disc rotors may just be "glazed"- meaning the surface on the pad and rotor become smooth and cause friction noise when braking. But better to be safe than sorry, call in and talk to one of our qualified mechanics if you are experiencing noisy brakes.
Why am I hearing clunks and bangs from under the car?
our vehicle is fitted with many rubber bushes that create support and comfort over rough surfaces, making for a smooth and quiet ride. Over time our harsh climate and driving conditions cause these rubber parts to deteriorate and make these annoying clunks and rattles! Call our office to make an appointment and we can get you back to a smooth ride.
